I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for the gift of life he has given us to steer this school to another level. The Parents Association (PA) appreciates with a lot of satisfaction, the contributions made by our parents, the Board of Management and teachers of this school in ensuring that our sons gets a conducive environment for learning to make a better future. Courtesy of this mechanism, Maranda High School has ceased to be “just any other school” but a national epitome of academic excellence.
I want to specifically thank the Board of Management, the Chief Principal, the teachers and students for the dedication and focus that has enabled us to be a school of choice in the Republic of Kenya. You have been dependable allies in making the School’s mission and vision a reality. Most importantly I want to thank my fellow parents who have been very cooperative with me since they gave me the mandate to be their chairperson.
My prime role as chair to the parents is to provide liaison between parents/guardians and the school administration/teachers. Our main business is to make sure that our students gets a sound character modelled in a conducive learning environment. The expected outcome is excellent performance in both
academic and co-curriculum activities. I am urging fellow parents to keep on supporting the school projects so that we can continue to provide a better and more conducive environment for our children. As we move into the future, let us continue supporting the school’s agenda by ensuring that we continue meeting our parental obligations. A committed parent is what has always made a difference in a School. We have done well on this front but let us make it even better!
