It is my privilege and honour to welcome you to Maranda High School, a centre of excellence committed to academic distinction, discipline, and holistic student development.
In the 2024 KCSE examinations, the school ranked 18th nationally, achieving a mean score of 9.6993, with 57 A plains and a 97% university transition rate. These results reflect our sustained pursuit of excellence, highlighted by the outstanding national performance of Samuel Mutua.
Several departments, including Agriculture, Computer Studies, Kiswahili, CRE, and Aviation, recorded exceptional outcomes with a mean score of 12.0. While we continue to strengthen performance in all subjects, targeted interventions such as mentorship programmes, academic clinics, and structured revision sessions are in place as we pursue our 2025 goals: a mean score of 10.5+, 100+ A plains, and a place among the top ten schools nationally.
The school is also expanding its infrastructure, with a 5,000-seater multipurpose hall, new dormitories, and a CBC senior school facility under development to support our growing community.
With the unwavering support of parents, alumni, and partners, we remain committed to building not just a school, but a heritage of integrity, innovation, and excellence.
