On behalf of the Board of Management, I extend my sincere gratitude to the entire Maranda High School community as we mark another significant milestone in our journey of excellence.
Maranda High School did not become a national giant overnight. It is the result of many hands and shared commitment—teachers who serve with passion, students who work with discipline and determination, parents who sacrifice tirelessly, and leaders who envision and deliver. As the Board, we have remained actively engaged, walking alongside the school through planning, development, guidance, and support, because a well-raised learner today is the foundation of a stronger Kenya tomorrow.
In 2025, the Board prioritized key infrastructural developments to match the school’s growing population and national stature. These include expanded dormitories, modernized laboratories and classrooms, and strengthened ICT integration. Our investment in e-learning and digital library resources reflects our conviction that technology-enhanced learning is no longer optional, but essential.
While we take pride in Maranda’s strong KCSE performance, our focus goes beyond grades. We are committed to nurturing responsible young men who embody integrity, discipline, resilience, and service. We commend the administration and teaching staff for sustaining a culture of discipline, mentorship, and academic focus.
Guided by the belief that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, the school continues to uphold strong spiritual and moral foundations through chaplaincy, fellowship, and mentorship programmes.
I wish to sincerely thank the Chief Principal, Dr. Edwin Namachanja, the school administration, staff, students, fellow Board members, parents, and alumni for their unity, dedication, and continued support.
As we look ahead, our resolve remains firm: to sustain Maranda High School as a centre of excellence in academics, discipline, innovation, and moral uprightness. Together, let us continue to dream boldly, work diligently, and uphold the values that define us.
